How to celebrate the end of exams and the long year of work they represent? A week in the north west of Scotland! We’ll be camping up near Ullapool, in the region of Wester Ross, surrounded by some of the finest mountains in the British Isles, such as Suilven and An Teallach. This is arguably the remotest, wildest part of the UK, where the mountains soar out of a land of ancient geology, intricate lochans and heathery moors. Such a setting makes a fitting place for another multi-day hike, where we will explore the Fisherfield forest.
